An emotional intelligence lesson from Delta’s CEO

Delta recently announced that it is paying $1.6 billion in bonuses to its employees, meaning that eligible employees will each receive a bonus of approximately 16.6% of their annual salary. This is the sixth year in a row the company has paid more than $1 billion in bonuses.

In a recent LinkedIn post detailing the bonus payments, where Bastian was praised as a rock star, the CEO chimed in:

"Appreciate the shout out...but Delta would be nothing without our 90,000 people. They deserve all the credit."
